Probe Into Hepatitis A Outbreak

Hundreds of pupils at a primary school in South Yorkshire are to be vaccinated against Hepatitis A after a six-year-old was found to have the infection.

Public Health England is investigating after the outbreak at Woodfield Primary at Balby in Doncaster. It is understood health experts became aware of the problem when they screened the youngster, reports itv.com

Three other relatives - two of them children who also attend Woodfield Primary - plus two adults were also found to have the infection when they were screened. It’s believed they’ve already been treated for the disease.
