Iran’s cyber police identified and arrested a hacker who had withdrawn more than $90,000 from people’s bank accounts. He was using spyware ‘keylogger’ installed by him in several Internet cafes in Shiraz, Mazandaran, Isfahan, Tehran and Kish, to steal bank account information, said Ahmad Ali Gudarzi, deputy cyber police chief, Fars Province. Keylogger spyware records every keystroke and sends information to malicious users via the Internet, he said, adding that, people should avoid online banking on public Wi-Fi systems or at Internet cafes, reports ISNA.
